Please don't forget to create a backup before update theme and plugins
Quick way #
- Download the most current version.
- Go to Appearance -> Themes and simply upload the theme. From WordPress 5.5 version you don’t need to activate another theme.
- Accept the prompt to replace the existing theme.
FTP way #
- Download the most current version.
- Unzip the package locate laveria.zip in the theme folder and unzip it on your computer. Rename the folder to _laveria
- Connect to your site with FTP and go to /wp-content/themes/ folder
- Upload _laveria folder to themes folder. So, you will have laveria and _laveria folders
- Rename the laveria folder to something like oldlaveria and _laveria to laveria. So you will have laveria folder with the new version of the theme and oldlaveria with old version.
- Check your site. if everything is ok – you can delete oldlaveria or revert everything back if something goes wrong
Updating bundled plugins #
The theme has some required plugins and some optional plugins. For required plugins, you can update them from the admin panel.
You will see the notice, which is visible on every page of the admin panel (if you didn’t dismiss it early)
So, follow the link and update plugins.
